A lifeboat for Ludesi Users?

This is a follow-up post to one earlier this week about the Ludesi Bankruptcy (Swedish version; English version here).

The Ludesi situation may leave some scientists ‘stranded at sea’ in their research and Nonlinear would like to offer a lifeboat.

We know how important your research is and we do not want to see work already started go to waste. We’re also passionate about 2D.  We will therefore do our upmost to help scientists affected by this situation, without profiting from it financially.

We are in early discussions with the lawyers appointed to handle the winding up of the company.  Unfortunately, it looks as though it is too late to rescue the gel analysis service because the relevant staff have already moved on. We will post more information about this when we know it.

Therefore, we will do what we can do now. If the administrators can’t help you, then whether you have outstanding credits with Ludesi or you are partway through a Ludesi analysis, Nonlinear will help you conclude your experiments by giving you immediate access to Progenesis SameSpots to finish any outstanding projects. We will also help you to quickly re-analyse images, which will allow valid comparisons to any gels run in the future.

Our aim is to help each individual group according to their needs. Obviously we hope that in time, you will turn to Nonlinear for future work, but right now we are offering to help you as much as we can free of charge, no strings attached.

We understand that this news is a big shock to some scientists who have worked closely with Ludesi over the years.  We sincerely want to help you out of this situation so please do get in touch and we will work with you to try to help.
